Things have been going so fast and we hope to have a design very soon. Brenda and I will start the design because we will need the approval before we begin to paint.
We will begin to paint in February and we hope to finish in one week. We are excited to go to Bay City and we hope to be able to also interact with the children by either teaching a class or even just playing with them.
There are a lot of things to do before February but we are very excited to begin to paint some smiles.

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that everything is going fine with your project. I think that is a great idea to start a design before getting approval. I was thinking maybe you and Brenda can come up with several designs, about 5 or so, and have the children decide what mural they would like best. You said you hope to finish the mural in one week so I am guessing you are talking about Creativity Week. If this is true, then what will happen if you don't finish this mural in time? Are you going to go back the same weekend?
The issue with having several designs is that we need to have a set one so we know what to sketch and trace.
ReplyDeleteWell we do hope to finish the project during Creativity Week. We know its very risky to have only 1 week to paint a whole mural but we have faith that we can do it. If we don't finish we will just have to continue to go on the weekends. Since Bay City isn't very close we would really have to plan to go on the weekends and finish asap!
