Finding a location for the mural to be painted has still been a struggle. There are a lot of places and the issue of the chemicals in the paint with the children always comes up.
The good news is that we have talked to Mr. Deleon, the school maintenance man, who is more than happy to help us paint the mural and give us feedback on our work. This will be very interesting because he is probably one of our toughest judges!
There are a lot of unleaded paints out there. I'm not an expert but I think any commercial grade paint you could buy at Sherwin Williams would be safe if you make sure it doesn't have led. I recomend Sherwin Williams paint because though it is more expensiveover Home Depot and Lowes paint, it has a stronger base and covers better. For the location of the mural I'm not sure where you might paint it, maybe the children's museum.
